I love this product and have used them for years both here at home and in our RV. They are easy to refill and the product stays attached to the wall, even in a wet environment.

The only problem I have is the dispensing mechanism inside seems to break rather easily when you use really thick soaps or soaps that have any kind of granules in them. It either clogs the little hole or causes something to break internally. I don't know exactly what happens, but we feel resistance, then hear/feel a click, then no more soaps comes out. No matter how much we clean the unit, we can never get soaps to dispense out again.

Minor complaint, you just have to use caution when selecting a product to use in these dispensers. Nothing too thick or containing granules.

The dispensers are sleek in design, making them more attractive than the usual dispensers. They are easy to mount and feel quite secure. I just wonder if the stess placed on the adhesive each time the reservoirs are removed for refills might loosen the adhesive over time.
The only small problem I've noted is that the flow of soap or lotion doesn't shut off quickly with release of the pump button, leaving some liquid hitting the counter after removing my hands.
All in all this is an exellent value.

My kids had to have this, and fortunately it has turned out to be a great purchase. No more messy tubes and paste all over the counter. The chrome is much more classy looking than the white ones, and look nicer suction cupped right to the mirror.

Item is very flimsy - broke immediately - V. Vinger -
I was so excited to get this item. No more messy tubes of toothpaste! Unfortunately the item is very flimsy. My husband (a general contractor) set it up the same day we got it. My five year old went to use it and had the lever for the toothbrush break off. It then fell off the wall within hours of setting it up and broke in half! We just threw away the pieces. Waste of money.

Nice concept but didn't last more than a day with my girls (ages 5 and 6). It would not stay on the wall, even with the adhesive contraption they send you--now that contraption will not come off our painted wall w/o pulling the paint with it. I threw the unit away--don't waste your time or money on this.

Initially I really like this mouthwash dispenser. I've had it for about 2 months now and noticed dark flecks in my mouthwash. I looked under the kid and the layers of it had separated allowing liquid between. Something dark growing there....ewwww... this is way too expensive an item to be broken in 2 months. save your money.

Glue reacts with mouthwash - L. Romero - Carlsbad, CA United States
I bought this product to make it easy to pour mouthwash. It looks great but it has a couple of problems. The first one is that you need to pump it about 20+ times to get enough mouthwash. The second one, and the main reason for the low rating, is that the glue that holds the metal and acrylic together seems to react with the mouthwash (I use Listerine). After a couple of days, it starts bubbling up around where the glue is. Who knows what chemicals from the glue go into the Listerine.

I got this in the mail a little over a week after buying it & it was in excellent condition.
My only thing is - it's a little on the small side.
I'll have to check around and see if there's one in a 12 or 16 ounce size.
That way I won't have to keep the original disposable mouthwash bottle under the sink as a extra. I'm not much for clutter so I'll have to check if there's a larger size or not.
Overall, I'm pleased w/ this product though. No chipped glass or damage when it arrived.

mouthwash decanter - Jean L. Moore -
I was trying to replace a decanter purchased in Blowing Rock, NC several years ago as I had broken the top/cup. The replacement decanter appeared to be the same quality and priced the same as the original. The quality of the new decanter was of poorer quality cut glass and the stem of the top/cup is a bit wobbly as well as the decanter smaller. I feel it is overpriced, and should have cost about .00.

Just for the record, the chrome on the chrome version is not chrome but painted silver plastic. If you're expecting the hard finish of a 57' Chevy bumper you'd be sadly mistaken. Of course common sense (if not price) tells you it's plastic. The unit is super easy to install, the buttons are solid, work well and don't drip. The reservoirs are large and easy to fill. Not much else to say except I expect to get a few good years out of it. I think you'll be pleased with this unit.

This mouthwash decanter is lovely and has a nice solid 24% lead crystal heft to it. At almost 7-3/4" tall it holds a good amount of mouthwash and can be easily refilled. I chose this item because I wanted more room on my vanity sink and didn't need the huge and unwieldy mouthwash plastic jug taking up so much room. The tall design (rather than wide) frees up extra space, plus it looks far more attractive than a Listerine bottle. The stopper on top can also be used as a mouthwash cup then rinsed immediately (or you can sip it directly out of the decanter but that's not quite as elegant!)

I would not recommend this decanter for a crowded or narrow sink where there's a chance of knocking it off onto the floor. Also, it may not be stable enough on a curved or uneven basin. It is better suited to a wide vanity or ledge. Also, while the literature also recommends filling it with lotion, I don't think the neck is wide enough to make filling (or dispensing) practical. Bath salts or bubble bath would likely be a good fit, but if kept inside the bath area itself it needs a stable resting spot -- it's very heavy and could cause damage if it came crashing down.

Overall, a great bathroom decanter!

My 9 y/o son had been using an insane amount of body wash and shampoo during his nightly showers. We'd tried pump bottles for a while, but our shower is small and the sound of them falling off the shelf scared the heck out of me each night. I decided to try this shower dispenser and figured for the price I'd be happy if it worked even somewhat okay.

Well, it's great! We had the thing installed in just a few minutes. I was impressed how easy it is to fill. My son has no problem using the dispenser with his little hands, even when they're soapy. And best yet, we're not going through bottles of shampoo and body wash every 3 days now!

I bought these to try out because I was tired of juggling bottles in the shower. I am so very pleased I bought it! It was super easy for my son-in-law to install and works great! I'm sure I'm saving on shampoo and body cleanser as it dispenses just the right amount with two or three pumps. It does not drip either. I shopped around and found a good price at Amazon! Do youself a favor and order one for each bathroom!

PRO: Sturdy build. Easy and solid install with the silicone glue. Looks nice. I got 2 and cleaned up the clutter in the shower and the kids' tub nicely.

CON: is pretty steep for simple shampoo dispensers if you think about it. I think is more reasonable. I give it 4 stars because of the price.
