This mouthwash decanter is lovely and has a nice solid 24% lead crystal heft to it. At almost 7-3/4" tall it holds a good amount of mouthwash and can be easily refilled. I chose this item because I wanted more room on my vanity sink and didn't need the huge and unwieldy mouthwash plastic jug taking up so much room. The tall design (rather than wide) frees up extra space, plus it looks far more attractive than a Listerine bottle. The stopper on top can also be used as a mouthwash cup then rinsed immediately (or you can sip it directly out of the decanter but that's not quite as elegant!)

I would not recommend this decanter for a crowded or narrow sink where there's a chance of knocking it off onto the floor. Also, it may not be stable enough on a curved or uneven basin. It is better suited to a wide vanity or ledge. Also, while the literature also recommends filling it with lotion, I don't think the neck is wide enough to make filling (or dispensing) practical. Bath salts or bubble bath would likely be a good fit, but if kept inside the bath area itself it needs a stable resting spot -- it's very heavy and could cause damage if it came crashing down.

Overall, a great bathroom decanter!

This is very elegant for the bathroom or vanity. It can be used in a variety of ways. It's better than displaying any kind of plastic bottle and definitely a lot prettier.

I cannot stand the ugly plastic mouthwash bottles and was thrilled to find this decanter. I have purchaced 6 so far for our home and as gifts. It holds enough mouthwash for 1 week using twice a day. At first I thought it was a little small but after weeks of use it is just perfect!! It does not take up a lot of counter space and looks great!!!
